• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hell's Gate 2010

Graffunder No. 022
event is this weekend in bella Toscana

I see also one of my fave old guy enduro 4 stroke specialist rider Super Mario! (Rinaldi) 005 (Husaberg) is signed up as well.

Glad Corey got picked up by Husky. He's a phenomenal rider.
I heard he tried to make the KTM team but there was just not enough room for all.

Their loss our gain.

Oh ya he just happens to be from Kamloops BC.:D

geez so far it looks like only Dougie L and Graham J finished!!! Wow amazing!! I guess Fasola is happy!!

They are to only two that finished cuz their first loved is Trials.

Both have taken World Trials titles. No wonder they're phenomenal at enduros.

Thats true enough. David Knight was a good trials rider aswell. Wayne Braybrook didnt come from a Trials background though.
Anyway, good to see Lampkin doing well cause not matter how good his trials record (7 world championships or so) it still takes a lot of grit, determination and heart to do something like that.

The Man with the trophy**************************************** Great work Dougie!! Good show from the small manufacturers Beta and Sherco!!! Compliments and Ale hoists!!!

Graffunder was doing well in 5th OA. got held up and basically houred out, lots of time lost on impossible climbs waiting for the crowd to pull. "Impossible" means that, every competitor had assistance from the crowd to clear some of the obstacles and the clock runs while you're waiting for assist. The waterfall was the ugliest. CG is fine and bike is fine, DNF for time out no injury or mechanical failure.

Which bike will Graffunder be on? WR 300? TXC 250?

Mr. Graffunder was on a WR300 which I believe is the same bike that he used at this weekends National Hare and Hound round 2 at Red Mountain, CA, USA. It was awesome to see a fellow Canadian on a Husky and Cory is now my favourite racer.
Here is a picture of his machine:
