  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

You can never have enough bling!! That headlight is waaaay to cool for my bike!

500 off the price of the bike would be much easier, but then i think it would be the dealer that would pay the $500 and not the factory/Distributor.
By applying for the $500 cash back from the Factory/Distributor, it ensures everyone who buys a bike while the promotion is on gets the money back, and stops Dealers profiting from customers that don't know the $500 cash back promotion is on.
 
Is that sticker kit part of a race kit from the dealer ? Looks very nice
Would you say you are happy with it compared to the 310. ? It wil be nice on a mx track for sure .
 
Yes the sticker kit is part of the race kit I bought and my dealer fitted it, and did a great job of it.
I've only ridden it twice, and I love it and think its better than the 310, it handles better, stops quicker and the efi is faultless! Plus it's a lot lighter! I do not regret going from a 310 to a 250
 
It's official, I love this bike!! It craps on the TE's
Handling is superb, red head motor is brilliant!! I will stretch the throttle cable before I find the rev limiter.
It has a healthy bottom end for a 250 and I can ride this bike faster than any 310. It's awesome!
We did a 90 km ride, there was one husky, one suzuki, and 4 ktm's. one of the kato's blew up. We left it there and kept riding, hahahaha! Kato's suck!!

I just kept quiet but had a huge smile on my face! The other guys gave it to him though, hahaha!
Funny you mention the user name as I've been thinking of changing it.

Thank you!!....That post was done from my iPhone and i had had a few post ride beers:rolleyes: i'm blaming the phone and the internet not my stupidity :busted:
