  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc Has anyone dealt with www.husqyparts.com ??

I ordered and paid for 2007 cr125 fork springs and preload spacers and I think I might have been ripped off. I couldn't find these anywhere else. I paid for the parts 7 weeks ago and now can't get any response from them. I'm just trying to see if anyone has had any luck with them.

I have had loads of parts from them for various Huskys and they have always been nothing but superb with posting the parts out, Parts bought have always been as described and all the new old stock goods have saved me a fortune lol.
Sorry to hear your having troubles but it happens sometimes and is a right royal pain in the butt but is not always the sellers fault.
Hope you get it sorted.

I have had both good & bad experiences with them. My bad experience was related to their lack of communication with me when they were unable to source parts that had been placed on backorder (without my knowledge). Having said that they did refund me but only after a bit of to & forth emailing.

Tread with caution I suppose.

I ended up canceling my order. I was able to get the preload spacers from motosport.com and I found springs from Germany on Ebay worldwide. I just put everything together this morning. The right fork leg has serious stiction. I'm thinking that the outer tube must be out of round near the bushing/seal area. I'll mic it today.
