Hey all,
Decided to have a nice Halloween trail ride at my place. We had lotso rain here in the north east to include about 4 inches alone on wed night o Thursday. Combined with the leaves, it ensured there would be plenty of “Tricks” and some not so good “Treats.”
Quite a few Huskys, but also in honor of the great pumpkin, I “allowed” some KTM guys to attend. KTM guys had not yet shown
Norm lookin' focused on his 09 125
and on the 07 144.......Mr.versatility.....way to go Norm!
Leaves were wet and a bit Squirrely when they had rocks under them
Say "CHEEESE"! Norm (taking my 07 144 for a last rip)
Weight back was a daily requirement as was "steer with the rear"
Greg manhandling the TE 610 ....big roosts
Bulldogging a 610 through a tight left
Was one of those "looking just in front" rather than "way in front" days for me
Fury showed up to possibly buy the 144.....looks like a muddy drive back to Boston either way....He was ripping on it
Another Senior rider looking to pick up a Husky 125 as a playbike
Happy day for Fury but sad day for me (note my fake smile) but she's going to a good home!
Greg taking my 310 for a test rip.....now he's looking at a 310 in 2010 for his stable...forget the "slap chop"....these things sell themselves!
The "Guest of Honor".....teeth not retouched....(much) Sorry-could not resist
"Those Guys" had me surrounded and thought they had me
My last act of defiance
KTM's cutting the course constantly to keep up
After denying it.....was busted by the loyal Husky banner tape stuck to front tire!
All kidding aside....everyone went good all day and no injuries
Buddys wife brought her DR200 and the tires had as much traction as a stale glazed donut!.....but she soldiered on
And was recognized for her talent and determination
All in all a good Halloween trail ride
