• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

    TE = 2st Enduro & TC = 2st Cross

TE/TC Hakkalugi's TE150

Installed the rear tubliss & battlecross last night still waiting on my fatty & lectron to come in. The tubliss system is pretty neat, took me a little to figure it all out but seems to be great so far! Was supposed to get a ride in today got all the way there & severe tstorms & tornado warnings turned us around unfortunately..

My slavens order was shipped today. I spent a few more bucks & got an Enduro Engineering plate, EE link guard, EE rad braces, some number plate backgrounds, swing arm protection & some cycra wrap arounds to keep the ol wrench turners safe. Money well spent in my eyes, cant wait to slap some new goodies on!

Good to hear! I got the x40 because we have alot of rocks & hard surfaces I figured it would wear better. Was worried about the sidewalls riding low pressure theres not many reviews on tubliss out there so thats great to hear!

the X30 wears quite well . Not that soft and we have rocky areas. Grips well on rocky ledges. Not so sure on real loose rocky stuff . They have strong side walls . I had tubliss and an X30 on my wr300 and it seemed to work better than without tubliss - which is what I have now on 250.
Could also be more revvy motor though too.
A lot of guys here swear by the X30s .

Good deal! Hopefully ill be able to put it to the test soon.

Lectron & GT fatty front should be here today & I have the day off! Sucks its so chilly out but supposed to warm up again this weekend!

Alright so I received my Slavens order. Went to town tonight on the ol 150, oh baby this just took an already great bike even better. This carb truly is a 'mule'. By the time I had everything installed it was 9PM- I took my time & did everything 100% legit so I couldn't really get a full test ride in. But with that said oh baby does this thing pull**************************************** & Oh baby does she sing on the mid-top end! Anyways you dont want to listen to my ramble on, heres some pics!

Shout out to Peroni for soothing the soul tonight.

Still no hand guards & dummy me ordered the rad guards but not the braces... Just ordered a set of braces & ill slap em all at once. Did put the EE plate & linkage guard black number backgrounds & the swing arm guards on there. Not sure how I feel about the black 'number plate' background up there by the headlight. Might peel that one off. Ugh crooked pics! ill try a third party image uploader.

Solid 40 miles in today. Rear tires hooks like mad. Lectron runs great, might be a tad rich gonna tinker but alot better than I got the stock carb to run. Front tire lost pressure after a while but still preformed great, hope I didnt slice it there was a good bit of glass as we passed one campsite but ill take a look tomorrow. Felt good to get out again, now I remember how much I love this bike!
