  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Graphics Company's for the Husqvarna Riders Out There

Well I am putting together a laundry list of things i would like to get for my txc310 and on that list is some nice graphics. So what are the options out there? I know decal works does them (i priced a complete custom set from them with numbers is around $275 i believe) and ridepg. I don't really know of to many other places. I am talking to phil over at E-Sticky graphics in canada about doing me a set. He is awesome! Very nice and willing to work with you on anything. He's done my race quads in the past, and i even hooked all my riding buddies up and they all bought graphics off him. You have to email him but i will include two samples he sent me of other huskys he's done. Let us know who you've gone to or used in the past, and post up some pictures.

I recently placed an order with Decal Works for my 449. I will NEVER use them again. Im sure their product is high quality but........below is a exact copy of what I wrote in a survey they requested. I have however used RidePG for Husky backgrounds and like their product.

"On 02/25 I contacted Decal Works via telephone to check on a delivery date prior to ordering. I needed the order by 03/01 and I did not intend to place the order if I wasnt going to receive it on time. The sales representative stated that orders like what I wanted take two days to process and I was two days shipping time away. I was informed that if I placed the order over the phone right now I would receive it on time. I placed the order then and there, expecting to have it on time. I kept a close eye on my order through the Decal Works site and on 02/27 I noticed that the order had not shipped yet. I contacted Decal Works with the intent to upgrade my shipping to whatever was needed so that I was guaranteed to receive my order on time. The rep I spoke to looked at my order, stated that it was cut, that it would be shipping out today, and there was no need to upgrade my shipping. I was told I would receive my order on time and would be emailed a tracking number soon as it shipped. I waited for the email which I did not receive until 02/28 at 9 PM. The order did not actually ship from your facility until after this. Needless to say I am very disappointed in Decal Works for leading me to believe that my order would be received on time. I feel this was a sales ploy to gain my business when I first made the phone call and that the rep knew full well that the order would never be ready in time. I would think a well known company like Decal Works would not resort to such tactics. I only buy graphics once a year but from now on, those orders wont be with Decal Works."

Sorry that you had such a bad experience with DeCalWorks. I have ordered 3 sets of shroud stickers from these people, and have never had a problem with them. One of the bikes I ordered decals for was not something that they normally had a template for, so they told me it would be up to two weeks to get the stickers delivered to me. It took about that amount of time to get them.

Here are the ones that I got for my TE450 and my WR300. These are just the ready-made ones that they offer (although I think that the ones on the TE are no longer being produced in that exact pattern).

Yeah I have no doubt they make a good product. Looks and quality control are probably at the top of there list and it shows in the stuff they sell. Just irritated that I was very particular in regards to my specifics and they didnt follow through even after i stayed on top of them. Your graphics do look really nice though. Glad you had good luck in your dealings with them. Just wanted people to be aware that if they are in a time crunch like i was, they might want to look elsewhere.

i know what that feels like, believe me. Look for a thread on tcr wheels and read my experience with them. O and btw, i would appreciate your opinion on the graphics in the attachment. i am going to have a set of those made for my 310 but with different logos and numbers.
