• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Graham Jarvis contract extended

How many guys are at the pinnacle of their sport in their 40's. And such a demanding one like extreme enduro!

the guy who was 4th in the world in the world trials championship......that's way up in the stratosphere as far as skill and balance go, and what goes with that is very low fatigue riding, but fact is he is also a top tier endurance athlete (big fan of Soccer).

They would have to have their heads examined if they let Jarvis go. He sells more Husqvarnas than anyone else I bet. Although Robert and Ajaxauto are pretty good brand ambassadors too.

Alright, I agree. But I guess I'm willing to admit that I'm not Quite at the same level as Jarvis.

Watched the hard enduro today, Jarvis kicked butt, said he loved the new husky. What an awesome race event buy holy crap hard core. Huge boulders extreme to say the least and husky looked awesome. Looked like most bikes were 300 2 strokes didn't see any 4 strokes

Just when I thought that there is nothing better then my Dialed in 2016 Husky TE 300 Andy Jefferson from Husky management tells me
John you will not believe how much better the new 2017 TE 300 is. So it is off to the store to buy a winning lotto ticket

So then, you sell the Italian 300, buy a 2017 race bike and keep the 16 for your practice bike. Sounds like a solid plan to me. I'm about due for a reality check on your loop once the heat subsides.

I rode the Indio loop the other morning EARLY like just before daybreak It was only 100 at 9 when I finished any way rode the loop with a Golden 523 KX rear gummy endurocross tyre Same tyre I used at Last Dog Standing Lets just say it almost takes the fun out of riding since it makes every hill seem flat. I swear this tyre will climb anything. I like it more then both the 216 gummy or 523x Both those tyres are FIM rated and only come in size 140/80/18 The 523KX comes in a 110/100/18 So I put a 100/100/18 mouse in it and cant wait till King of the Moto

How long lasting is that tire?

wrong question,,,,,,,answer it lasts as long as it takes to finish or win the event you entered. It also lasts a bit longer if you ride it trials style and don't spin the thing.
