• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Graffunder and his 449 take second at WORCS Rd.5 Pro2

DB AZ

Husqvarna
B Class
With temps near the 105 degree mark Cory Graffunder used his fitness and skill to put his Husky on the Pro2 box at Speedworld's WORCS race in Arizona. Cory had a great race going in the 450 A class when bike problems forced him out of the race. He had to go back to his "practice" bike and ride the Open class at the end of the day. Graffunder had to prep the bike with the help of of Husky's Derek Sorenson. "We had to take the bike almost down to the frame, switch the forks, bars, shock, gas tank and put a torque limiter in the motor. The guys from Moto City also helped in the prep and we got it done just in time." Cory went on to take third in the Open Class.

A great start, on Sunday, put him in the top 3 at the end of the first lap. Graffunder took the lead and was pulling away from Justin Seeds when it was time to pit. "I got around the Kawasaki and put some time on him knowing we both had to pit." With both riders needing a full tank Seeds was able to get out in the lead. "We need to come up with a faster way to fill the tank on the 449. I tried to catch, him but went down twice and the lappers became a problem. I made the decision ride smarter not harder" Graffunder said after the race.

Cory "G" is just one point out of first in the Pro2 class, leading the the AMA West Hare Scrambles series and is getting ready for Round One of the EnduroCross season in two weeks.
He was also flying the colors of his new sponsor Troy Lee Designs and had the Go Pro on as well.
