  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc got myself a cr 125 for 200 bucks now what?

i bought this cr 125 four days ago and i know its between the years 2000-2004 im guessing its a 2003 but don't have a clue because the guy i bought it from was unsure of the year and size even tho it says 125 all over it ,however, is there any way i can tell if i cant read the vin on the frame?. anyways i got two bikes one is a 04 parts bike with cracked jug and no carb and the bike in the picture, which needs nothing but a wash and new plastics runs like a champ

my main concern is what year is it and what parts from other years will fit it cause i know they change from 2004 to 2005 just not sureDSCN0632.JPG
thanks guys

looks like an 04, judging by the rear caliper, and dark gray engine covers, also fork gaurds and graphics are right for an 04. I don't think the mini caliper was used berore 04 and was
not easily swapped because the carier tab on the swing arm was in a different location.
the pipe is from an earlier model 00-03. also the air boot is different on an 04 but can't
see it in the picture.

2003 or 2004

tank fill is slightly diferent as my 2002 WR

if the graphics are original I would say 2003 (2004 had the 100 year anniversary graphics if I am not wrong)

im new to cafehusky and so far im loving this site all the info is so helpful and thank you guys for the help, its very appreciate. and that's great i was looking for the pointy rear fender and side panels from the o5 to fit my o4 and found them on a site i found on here, Motoplasticsus.com and was wondering if the 06 tank covers/ radiators shrouds would fit my tank or would i need to get a different tank? and no matter how hard i look i cant find black number plates and fork guards cause im swapping the whole bike over to black excels and black plastics <3 already got a fmf fatty pipe and new wheel bearings n tires. any6 clue on where i can find a black front number plate and black fork gaurds?

thanks again guys

i also have a 2002 parts bike including back swing arm, whole frame (the rear part of the frame where the seat bolts two is bent), front rim assembly, front c cycle forks, triple clamps, stock rear suspension, whole engine with junked piston and crack jug and air box and carb. dont know if anything is good haven't even looked at the pieces in the box yet but im willing to part with some parts that i dont need for a price so if anybody needs something just let me know im in north eastern CT

Right on with the rear brake..it is a 2004...don't even think they imported in 2003.

I have a lot of spares if you need anything.
