• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I've never ridden up there. I've only ridden as far north as GP.

I'm game. Let's make it happen!

I was going to suggest we ride Sat before the SX but that might be a little much and we would need to find a place for our bikes while at the SX.

Great vids and looks like a great day! A 250/300 is just perfect for out there...

I am more than envious - I can't ride for the next 3 months due to an unexpected health problem & surgery...

I am getting a few goodies for Les (@ LT-Racing) to fix up the TXC510 we share and I'll be out there again as soon as I can be - although by the time I am able to ride again it will probably be "gifford pinchot season".

Thanks Kelly - I am good now. I thought I was having an ongoing asthma problem - remember how tired I was at belfair when we first got our txc's? - turned out to be my Heart.

I had open heart surgery two weeks ago - double bypass. I was really lucky - no heart attack and no damage to my very strong and well functioning heart muscle - just blocked arteries.

I have 2 months off work on disability and I am truly bored out of my mind! :) But I am feeling better every day and looking forward to getting out on the trail again...

Wow Jeff, glad you are OK. My Dad had triple bypass about 8 years ago and made him feel like a kid again. Hope the same for you.
