• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

GNCC Round One

Here is a better pic. I noticed that Rockstool has a IMS tank on his 300. It looks different than the P3 on Kearney's.

Thanks Dean! I think I have the sequence figured out. I will try to fix Kearneys second sequence tomorrow.

Not sure what is going on but it is hard for smug mug type hosting sites to have multiple pics - just click on the album, or post individual pics using IMG code.

I wonder why they don't do tanks for the public? Too expensive? Wow...very nice!

David

That tank took two weeks to build! And it's a one off model. If you notice the outside of it looks rough, because he builds out or off of an existing tank....No molds exist... if you saw how he builds it... you'd be very impressed!

The thanks he Built for Ty Davis team Yamaha have molds made and he layers in with the rough side inside the tank!

I think even with Team Yamaha and Team Suzuki he may have only built maybe 8 for each factory team.

When he does build a thank you're looking to spend a few thousand for each thank... plus the prototype tank mold.

Wow!! Good eye!

Well, he's also running a NISSIN front brake system with a Honda hose, Pro Circuit pipe and silencer. And I think that might be a KEIHIN carb, but it's hard to tell for sure from these pictures. ;)

Some day,,,,GNCC it is on the bucket list!!!(sportsman class 2 hours is more than enough). GNCC is just loaded with deep talent in all the classes.

Not sure if there is another, but he is a local that finished in the top ten at last years powerline park race in the xc1 class. Now he is running in the sportsman class in the morning.:excuseme::excuseme:

Yeah...Scott said they were having some issues with the stockers until they had some factory support come show them how to bleed them correctly but Glenn was ready to race with the Ohlins. We will see what they run next race.
