• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

“Leaving us for 2010 will be Ben Kearney who is moving over to the USA to race with his brother Glenn Kearney in the GNCC. It’s been awesome having Ben on our team, and we wish him all the best in his American journey.”
He rode for KTM in Oz,, for GNCC?? Anyone?

He hasn't raced gncc before. 2010 will be his first year in the states. Don't know who he was racing for in Oz.

I just re-read Offroad Champions and it now says that Brother Ben is going to be Mechanic for Glenn and race AM GNCC's....

Yeah, Ben is your classic "too cool for school" yet quietly spoken Aussie off-road talent. He finally won his elusive E1 title in 09 and was regularly posting top outright times here in Australia (among Merriman and Hollis).
He's avoiding getting roped in to a deal for GNCC at this stage cause he wants to test the water, help Glenn and basically get a feel for America at his own pace. He will definitely do some racing on one of GK's bikes, so don't be surprised if you see some rogue Aussie at the front of the pack.

You can see Ben on the gas in this flick - Part two of GK's interview ... brotherly love.

From that video, it seems Glenn may be kinda burned out. He done a lot of training & breaks his leg before the 1st race in Florida & the Husky keeps having problems.[Like 90% of the races?] I would like to know what kind of problems he had. Man, the year before with Scott involved the bikes did great! Coincidence? With his brother coming over & a little luck [or lack of bad luck] I bet he does a lot better. He already said Husky has stepped up the program. I think he will be motivated again. It's going to be a fun year!

Great interview with some nice riding thrown in!
