• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Glenn Kearney and his new 310cc engine

nice!! Lots of folks are afraid to buy ex racer machines, note that most are better maintained with parts replacement and repairs on super short work cycles. Most race team machines are low hour machines with a tight maintenance schedule that are usually better maintained than standard owner bikes. That is a good buy!!

Thanks everyone! I get to take it out for the first ride this weekend and am super excited. The bike is just so amazingly light...even compared to my KTM XCFW.

I PM his e-mail address to you. I have a feeling he already sold it because he said that he had sold another of his bikes before this one.

This bike is nearly flawless. 10 hours on the engine (the 250 is back on it) and it has a fresh valve job. The bike itself was his weekend race bike so it looks practically new...heck I could eat off the chain. If only I could keep it this nice looking. lol.

I,bought Glenns last 2 TXC 250's 7 Steve bought his last TC 250 at the Iornman. This little Huskey are alsome!

Well the TXC 250 is no longer for sale because its in my garage. I'm hoping he left some of his excellent riding skills on the bike along with some of the neat parts :D

I'm not the most qualified person to evaluate Glenn as a racer, but he was certainly a cool guy. Best of luck to you next season!

Phoenix, I have a chance to pick up another txc 250 that Glenn has and wanted to know what your thoughts were on the bike you picked up from him?

Rode it again today and absolutely love it. It was in fantastic condition and runs like a top. I think he's a good guy to buy a bike from.

I,sold one of Glenn's TXC to a freind he loves the bike.Still debating on keeping the other one for myself I,am a2T rider but these Huskeys have the best out of the box chassis Ive ever rode period.Feel comfortable about one of Glenn's bikes it has been mantained at the highest level.
