• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
AA Class
Dalton will be out for about 6 weeks after fractured His left wrist and forearm,
after a very good start of the season at Daytona (2nd overall 450 mod.)& also
(2nd overall open singles) stepping into regional expert A class in Pennsylvania the new Husky
has proven to be a bad ass dirttracker with the young pilot stuff on it:).
perhaps badluck strike in N.Y.at the Square deal raceway in Harpursville N.Y.last Saturday night
Dalton prefered track(never got beat as an amateur at SDR) riding the 449 as an expert at
the club season opener with 230 riders field, the Husky was fast and beat lots of big names
through the night racing 3 expert classes but by the end of the night the track got rough
and rougher, than one of the last race of the night Dalton went through ruts then tank slapper
got thrown off the bike against the wall & bounced,it was scary moment at high speed.
thank to alpinestar neck brace(the brace back piece partial broke but took the worst of it)
so 6 weeks off and some times to improve the tc449 in the shop.

Great picture - nice slide track behind the rear tire!
The bike looks great - assume the standard mods for tracking - lower suspension and 19" wheels? Anything else?
Those neck braces are designed to break as they absorb impact - I'll bet Dalton will come back with a vengeance - too bad we'll miss the race reports til then.

Get well kid, your sponsor* is counting on you, to make a full recovery!! We need more kids like you to keep our oldest US motorcycle racing tradition alive!!

Really sorry to hear about that. Tell Dalton we wish him a speedy recovery.

Andy has his last checkup tomorrow and I believe they are ready to cut him loose, actually healed pretty well.

Got to get us pit crews back out there where we belong!
