• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

GasGas suspends production.

Ask my grandmother how she made out on the gm bailout. She was living off the stocks that her husband left her after he retired from gm. She wasn't part of the union bail out stock plan and was left for dead. No matter how you slice the gm bailout it was catostrophic to many. One day they may even pay back the billions they still owe. Glad they are doing well. And I'm very glad ford is doing well. Sorta a sore spot for me as you could imagine. Rant over and hopefully nobody is offended by what happened to our family.

Sorry to hear it but if the company went under the same thing would have happened but many jobs were saved. I'm not all happy about it but in the end think it was best for the USA with the very limited insight I have into it.

SP stated he could not sell Bergs due to the low name brand recognition. This company here in question would have the same issue anywhere outside the place that are made. Just to prove his point, the Husqvarna brand which he owns now, is selling well past his dreams ... SP and most of us realize the Husqvarna brand has a long and well-known history that is pretty much driving these early sells of the Husqvarna brand bikes.

funny ... It's actually all about the Husqvarna brand in Cafe Husqvarna but we'll just ignore that.

lol ...Right!

Here's another reality check for some \ many of you guys here ... Most people don't actually know that :) ... I'd bet out of the new riders on Huskies, they do not actually care either. Life is great between our ears but you gotta venture out into the real, unknown, sometimes unforgiving, world. Like SP does.
