I ride a 2006 510TE dual sport in S.A.
Took a ride Sunday with G2 throttle fitted,400 cam installed(mildest one).
I gotta say, this is the best money I ever spent on my Husky.
Not one dreaded"back spit"the whole day(300km in the bush).
My bike is geared tall 14:43 and always seemed"empty"of torque below 4000rpm.
Incredibly it has now got real thumper feel, low down.
I am even riding it different, grunting out of corners instead of revving and spinning.
The only explanation I can think of is that the slower cam has caused the acceleration pump spray to be more in tune/aligned with the gradual increase in venturi velocity, almost as if she can digest the spray far better now, with better bi-furcation of the charge at lower RPM.
On bumpy, tufty grass with small throttle openings it is SO much smoother, small jerks of your hand don't cause sudden leaps forward or backfires,it just pulls smooth.
Even power slides at speed on hard packed sand roads feel safer and more progressive.
I run a .45 bowl jet with full duration spray-no B.K. or O-ring mods.
The motor just feels so happy and the last quarter "whack" sure is something-power wheelies deluxe.
It is a real well made thing too, easy to fit, just had to take up some slack on the pull cable.
It is so good, such a huge improvement,I am stoked with the bike, and I already loved it before.
