  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc G Plus Radiator hoses

PowerKord

Husqvarna
AA Class
I don't know if anybody else has seen these, so I figured I post. I found these G Plus radiator hoses on ebay. $59 shipped from China, just opened the package. I'm doing a top end job on my bike right now. I'll post a full report once I get the bike back together.DSCF0618[1].JPG

I just got a set and will be installing them on a WR250. They look OK.

Only thing unfortunate I can say is that the color is not a bright red as is shown on the ebay auction. It's more of a dark orange.

I've been searching for these for ages to fit my bike but nobody seems to make them in china yet, the genuine ones like samco cost £70 to £100, what company is this please? Can you link an online address? It's for a 2005 wre/ wr 125

ive been running them on my 88 and 95 all of 2014...they seem pretty good! they fit especially great on the 88. for my 95 i ordered the same kit for the newer huskies. fit was a tad off but they work well. great bang for the buck!

I have a set for me 360 i bought the kit for the 300 tho and all hoses fitted bar the rear of the head, i just ordered a right angle 150mm one and its doing just nicely, solid hoses worth the punt.

i think all the chinese ones are very close if not the same. just be prepared to not use the clamps that come with...they are horrendous garbage

I put some G Plus hoses on . Fitment was pretty good but coolant formed a drop on the hose at a branch/ junction after a hot ride.
To their credit kindz-import(ebay trader) sent a replacement hose without question.
Will see how it goes.2015-01-11-20-53-18.png
