  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

FE/FC FX 350 is home.

I don’t have the part number thought I did but couldn’t find it. Email this guy Scott scott@p3carbon.com he will totally hook you up. He’s a great guy.

I used their pop up contact box on the web page and got a reply from Adam. Apparently it's listed first as KTM part number 301096 but says it also fits the FE 250/350.

Does it offer more protection area than the stocker?

My FX doesn't come with a stock plate so in my case yes it does. I owned a 15' FE and I'd say it covers more area. The mount is not as easy to remove as stock but, looks way better. I have just about every p3 accessory available for me FX. Just missing the front rotor guard. That'll be next.

Nice, I just picked up one myself. Did you install any tuner/ecu or do the EU remap for lean conditions after installing your slip on? Since I'm in California we have to have a spark arrestor so I looked into the end caps for the oem can but they don't make them for the FX. Next option is a slip on but I'm worried about the bike being too lean afterwards w/o a JD tuner, Vortex ecu etc.

No did nothing to the mapping. It was easy off and on then ride. Fits, sounds, and works perfect.

I'm pretty sure that I cant add any more P3 carbon to my bike now. this was the cherry on top. I have skid plate, frame guard, exhaust pipe protector, now front rotor done. I guess I could do the rear rotor guard but that involves changing out the rear caliper bracket and I'm not in the mood to do that.

I have a 15 FE. I dont do mods on any of my bikes, just ride them stock. How much different is the suspension? I am sure it is a little stiffer. My FE is a little soft and I am close to 2 spins on the dial so I think the FX should be a little better.

I had a 15 FE before my FX. I’d say yes the suspension is a tad more ridged. I also notice differces in the fork as they are totally different. I like my air fork but think I liked the spring fork of the FE just a little better.
