Thought they were only doing the 4Ts? If they are pumping out 2T parts, that's good news. I just waited about a month for two out of 15 parts I ordered from Hall's to get here from Austria. That's after multiple dealers telling me, since February, that you can't get the parts anymore.
Something changed somewhere around June or July and KTM started releasing parts. Some major items like cylinders and heads you just have to wait for, and that's only because no one in the states seems to want to chance stocking them.
Hall's told me that KTM has to keep them available for 7 - 10 years, depending on model, from the model year of your bike. I have an '09 WR and so I figure I'll get few more years out of it. By then I'll be ready for a lighter, e-start bike anyway.
I was just answering the question about "who is SWM". I do believe they have stated that down the line they will build 2 strokes, but for now they are concentrating on getting up and running with limited models.
