• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Fun with photoshop....

Which do you like better?

I was just messing around on the computer one day. My gf's cousin does vinyl wrapping for commercial vehicles and said he would do my bike if I paid for the vinyl. I've seen a car that was wrapped for a couple years and then had the vinyl removed. I was amazed how perfect the factory paint was underneath! Besides a couple tiny door dings...the paint was flawless. I was thinking of maybe doing the entire Terra but figured that it would be much simpler to just enhance the graphics. I was also toying around with the idea of taking all of the white plastics off and having them done in a black carbon fiber wrap making the bike all red and black. If I did do that...I would also have him do the carbon look to the exposed parts of the factory black plastics just above/rear of the motor (the real gas tank maybe?), muffler guards, fork guards and chain guard (if possible).

Not sure what the cost of the stuff is or anything or how complex the geometry can be. He has not seen the bike in person yet, only a small pic my phone but he says he can do pretty much anything.

Still tossing around the idea...armor/protection comes waaaaaaaay before fluff.

Ok thanks KJack for the info. I agree armour is the first priority, so I am waiting for my motorsportz skid plate and will do a radiator guard myself at some stage.

But the challenge is who can manufacture the graphics you came up with!

Anyone with the skills to churn out the decals I think would certainly get some takers!

I agree with terra Tom...I bought a Strada..like the black but HATE the factory decal ..it makes the bike look chopped up somehow to me anyway..so not having the balls to just peel off the decal I decided to tape black vinyl on top of the decal. I really like it better...and may go ahead now and remove the stock decal. I do want to find out how expensive it is to buy a new set to have on hand. My luck when I decide to sell one day ...(no plans for that) ...the buyer would want the bike stock. I bet they wouldn't be too costly.

Hello! I´m a Swedish girl, new on this forum. I have signed up for a new Terra and getting it delivered next week. Can´t wait!
Until then I´m reading all I can here on Cafe Husky to get ideas for my new bike. I liked Kjackbrowns design ideas on top of this page and made a version with red logo on black panel (maybe matte vinyl). What do you think about it? :) lek paint svart med röd logga.jpg
