  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc For Sale: 95 WXE 250 2-stroke

95wxe250

Husqvarna
C Class
I have a 1995 WXE 250 2-stroke that's ready to move. A great deal for anyone looking for a rugged Husky. The bike has a brand new top end (Nikasil replated cylinder, Wiseco piston kit), and only has 1 mile on it....which around my neighborhood on the street during the post-rebuild ride).

Compression is good, the carb is clean (rebuilt last year, and has very few hours on it), has brand new plug and fresh air filter. Only thing wrong is a lack of power. I've determined it's related to the stator. Probably needs a new one. ....but that's why this bike is priced to move :)

Tires - 80-85% tread left (front/rear), Dunlop front, Michelin D756 rear
Renthal bars
DynoPort fat pipe
Ceet Racing gripper seat
Front/Rear brake pads in good shape (fronts are new, ~5hrs riding time on them)

Front fork seals are good, no leaks. Rear shock is in good shape. I'm 200lbs and it holds me up with no problems whatsoever.

There is a box of parts that came with the bike when I bought it, and will go with the bike when it sells. It's full of extra gaskets, cables, ring bearings, manuals, etc. There's no title, but I will provide a legal bill of sale.

This thing is ready to ride once the stator issue is sorted out. I just don't have time for it anymore.

price is $750.

thanks for looking, reply or PM if interested.
