  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hey all you all knowing Husky type peoples. Can anyone tell me if a foot peg off of a te/txc is the same as a 11 wr300? I'm not having any luck finding out and hate to call and waste a dealers time. Thanks in advance

after about 97 or 98 the standardized them
go to Halls online catalog and look up both bikes

A mate has a yammand gas gas bike and it turns out your spot on. Even the rear sproket fits from the Gas Gas on the smoker hub :) have new YZF pegs coming soon.

Thanks and sorry for the very late respons.

I put yz-f pegs on my 2014 cr125. I had to grind off a few mm so they would fit between the two plates, but the angle was perfect, the hole is the right diameter and they work great. One oem peg bent after 1 easy layover. I used TUSK pegs from Rockymountainatvmc.com Good deal too...

The reason I ask is swapping to the yzf pegs is a more common mod for the yz. But different year yzf pegs had different widths, materials and height. Most people go for the 5xc pegs as they are the widest, stainless and are 5mm lower than the older and newest pegs. They went back to a taller peg in 2010.

Their part numbers are: 5XC-27411-M1-00 and 5XC-27421-M1-00
