  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

FMF Slip on 2013 TXC310

Do as you like. But it most likely wont be as good as the Pro Circuit unit. Theirs a reason why the GNCC team used the Pro Circuit exhaust. If this were a 2012 bike I would say go fmf, but this is a 2013 and I think Pro Circuit offers a better system for the 13' then FMF does. Does FMF even offer a 4.1 for your bike? I don't think they sell one to the public.

My bike is a '12, and I have no need for a 4.1. I have an FMF header and Q4 silencer.

Fred Andrews is friends with Mitch Peyton at pro citcuit. From what i understand Fred use to ride for pro circuit back in the day. I would bet that the FAR Husqvarna GNCC team didn't pay a dime for the Pro circuit exhausts they used.

I needed a a muffler, mine is bent. I picked up a 4.1 for a tc not a txc. The mid pipe is to long buy a few inches. It does look like I could cut the mid pipe and it should fit. But then if I dicided to use a an FMF header will it be to short?? Anyone know the correct part number for an FMF powerbomb header. TC header would be fine
Ths is all for a 2013 red head

How did you get on with this, I seem to have found myself in exactly the same predicament!
I was just thinking what you suggested (cutting and recrimping the midpipe) but wondering how you worked it out?

I'm in the market for an FMF header and silencer. I have 2013 TXC 310. Do they make a Factory 4.1 RCT silencer that fits that bike? Which header pipe fits? Do I need to buy mid-pipe separately? Are there any other pieces that I need to have beside pipe/silencer?
What is the best map after installation? Thanks so much in advance everyone!

Zack
