• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

finally the debate is settled

Thanks for the link but I can't bring myself to click that link but I did my own 2t vs 4t dirt bike (250cc size only) testing ... Its pretty obvious to me what the bikes will do ...

click on it anyway you'll get a laugh and probably not the answer you expected

This is great.
I sent it for a good laugh to all my "older" buddies that used to ride 2 strokes back in the day. All of which still have at least 1 or 2, 2 stroke bikes sitting in their garages but now ride 4 strokes most of the time. All of us have threatened to buy a 300cc 2 stroke at one time or another. Myself included.

Lanky. Those vids are made by a local. He is the lanky guy on a lot of the vids - Barry
He also makes a lot of trials and cross training videos
I think he may be the Aussie version of yourself lankydoug !!
There needs to be at least one of us in each hemisphere. I ride cross training 50% of the time, I just didn't know it was called that until I watched his videos. The other 50% I ride single track that has the most rocks, roots and logs possible. I just turned 50 so his "why we ride / midlife crisis video" was spot on. His sense of humor is also the Aussie version of mine and since I like to laugh at my own jokes I find his especially funny.
