    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

What are the diff between FE 350 to FC 350 what would be better all round bike some motocross mostly just play rideing track / woods
 
The main thing is the FE has a head and tail light. Not positive about the actual transmission ratios. Easy to look up though!
 
Main thing is the motor tune, 5 speed CR transmission and the suspension. You can not have both a good woods and MX bike. Suspension is largely different between the two types of riding. FC's motor is more abrupt and you will loose traction in the woods. Flip side the FE will be smoother and more clutch work maybe needed to clear jumps. With that said the head and tail lights are the determining factor,,, do you need them?? Otherwise with some set-up time both bikes can be made to work in both types of riding. Just don't expect to woods ride to a MX track and have a perfect bike.
 
Imho, the fe will cover a wider variety of riding. A FC would be pretty limiting due to gearing restrictions.
 
If OP was looking at a more wide open riding then for sure the FE. MX bikes are well liked with many racers and woods riders.
 
The wide ratio transmission makes a big difference offroad and play riding. Otherwise, you have to choose a range for your gearing, decent top speed but too highly geared for the slow stuff, or great in the slow with a sacrifice of top speed. I live this every time I ride. Cam.
 
on my bike and probably the four stroke as well the tc had a smaller tank then the te. I popped for the complete te tank with petcock and fuel cap I think $200 or so. Flywheel weight can simply be added for $100 or so. I would assume the motocross version is also valved quite a bit stiffer possibly adding another 3-5 hundred for front and rear revalve if needed. Initial cost may be less on the moto bike by a thousand or so but add up any features the fe may have that you feel you need and decide! I miss having a kickstand often......
