    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I like it but if looks like a GG motor and plastic to me. Looks like a reframed GG. Edit: it is a GG motor. I like the adjustable triple clamps. Trailtech computer.
 
funny for me they look nice but I still really love the 50cc racing enduro comp models. ANd even the 125/200 4T enduro comp. they are super cool in semi mini size. And crazy as it seems the 50cc 2T would surprise many with its power and after riding my daughters tuner TTR125 I am sure that the liquid cooled 125 and 200 4T would rip as well.
Give Fantic a couple of years I am sure they will have their own powerplants (maybe)
 
Nice looking but not desirably different. Just so disappointing. What with the manufacturing technique available today, we just get another me too offering. As an Australian it's of no interest. If it landed here it would probably sell for about $14,000.

OSSA, now that maybe be desirably different. Husaberg is, and they sells lots here in Australia in spite of the high prices.

i doubt that. developing a chassis is rather easy, in terms of money, compared to developing a racing engine. the "gasgas connection" is an excellent thing, for fantic and for gasgas.

Also Fantic to my knowledge has never built their own in house motors they have always sourced powerplants from day one (1968), most recently Minarelli and years back from Rotax as well. Alot of the Italian cottage enduro companies built their bikes from in house chassis design using all the available and chosen aftermarket/OEM suppliers some even used Japanese engines as well. It's a smart way for passionate enduro fans to build their own name brand of machine by using the available market products added into some in house designs.

Kramit!! was the best!!! (Kramer Italia) Paolo Fellegara scored high in the 250cc class in WEC and ISDE with one in the late 80s, it had a Yamaha YZ250 motor and was a dream cottage shop bike for me at the time.
 
I remember going into a local Euro shop back in the day and drooling over the SWM's. Cool bikes.

Yep they sourced the disc valve 250 and reed/piston port 400 from Rotax.
Funny how old that motor was when your ATK406 (and mine too) was in production.
K what year did you have? Mine was an 88 I think, it had this bitchen CalFab alloy swingarm. wait this is a Fantic thread not SWM ot ATK....

Mine is a 95, last year for the 406, rear disk on the wheel.

Sweet. More options is always good! Wonder if Go Fasters will import to the US or if this ends up a Euro thing only.
