    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

125-200cc Exhausts Husqvarna SM125

Hello.
I have an Husqvarna SM125 2008, and wanted to find out what kind of exhausts can I fit.
I have heard that it is posible to fit Husq 125 WRE, WR, TC and SM exhausts on to my SM without any modifications.
Maby someone can suggest some good sport exhaust that I can purchase in Europe (Latvia)?
Only exhaust system I can find that is made for my SM is from Gianelli, but it has EU aproval, si its probably restricted.
 
you should be able to use any WR CR exhaust system as long as u use pipe and silencer as a kit as i m not sure which year the WR CR exhausts had a different design between pipe and silencer.
 
Is there such thing like low rpm power band, or high rpm power band for husky exhausts ?

the exhausts don't change where the power hits that much, not that you'd notice, the peak power comes from having the carb set up correctly, all the non standard exhausts do is allow more exhaust gases out more quickly than the original exhaust as that was made for the restricted bikes not the full power[ sms wre had 15 bhp, wr has 30bhp plus factory]

Is this all what exhaust do? allowing more exhaust gases out more quickly? So, non standard exhausts just adds more power? no effect on power band?

i would say the fmf pipe and tc2 silencer will give you less hp but it will make the power more usable- the mid rpm bog will be deleted, down low it feels a bit snappier but i would say you will trade some hp for it.
i really like the standard WR exhaust most- apart from the bog it performs great.
 
depending on how it's made, an exhaust can change where the power hits the hardest yes, my standard husky pipe had more low down power and not as much top end kick, when I fitted the dep pipe I had more power mid range and at the top but a lack of bottom end power, so more clutch slipping is needed pulling away now
