    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Right, just bought a 2012 TE 449 and love it!
So far put a rear Nomad tank on it to increase range & Mecca Systems bashplate plus some pro bend hand guards.
Only thing I'm short of is some protection for the Akro.
Seen some for want of a better word donuts that fit around the exhaust but unsure where to get them from?
Or is there anything else on the market that works??
I'm in the UK by the way.....
 
I use titanium exhaust wrap with an aluminum clamp on guard. Ty now also uses this setup.
 
i am also having a issue with finding a header pipe guard for the 2013 TXC250R. my problem is i have a pro circuit T-5 full exhaust system on the bike and its kinda like a megabomb header it has a fatter place in the header pipe and i asked several people on ebay if there carbon fiber guard would fit the pro circuit pipe and i cant find anyone that has something that will fit this. does anyone know of a place that sells a header pipe guard for this specific exhaust that will fit my 2013 TXC250 ???? any info would be greatly greatly appreciated and if i end up finding something i will post aswell what n where it might be. i dont know what kinda money you are looking to spend but a good carbon fiber exhaust guard is around 70-100 from what i have found on different sites. there is plenty out there just not any to fit my pipe. i know that ebay has a carbon fiber header pipe guard that will fit the stock pipe.. i think its like 80$? well between 80-100$ and for a good quality guard i think its worth the money i mean think a whole system your looking at 400-1000$ depending on how deep ur pockets are and what your wanting to spend.... id rather spend 100$ and keep my pipe nice and new where i can get a resell value out of it then to beat it all to shit and put it in the building somewhere to sit until i scrap it for ten bucks. if im lucky.....
