  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc Exhaust options 1999 cr125

Picked up a 99 cr125 that's required some TLC. Really hasn't been too hard to find the parts I've needed, but will need a replacement exhaust in near future. What are my options? See Procircuit offers one for this model year, but also looks to be out of stock. Are there others?

Does anyone know if a later model pipe and silencer combo will bolt up to the 99s? I think the joint moved a bit on the newer gen bikes.

It did. I have a like new FMF that is apparently for "older models" and it did not fit my 2012 for that reason. I don't think I'm gonna need it. If you're interested we can look into whether it's the proper fit for your 99. Let me know.

I have my stock silencer and pipe, plus scored a full PC system in great shape so I'm probably set. Can you measure from the center of the forward silencer mount to the joint on that, just to know so we can compare?

The 1999 WR125 measures at 7-1/8th inches at that point.

I was thinking a newer pipe and silencer might work as a set, I wasn't aware of all the options listed here, good news!

I went from the junction of the two pipes, at the tip to the center of the mounting hole, where it bolts to the subframe.
