Does anyone have an aftermarket exhaust for the WR 300? If so, who? Any reflections of what is good or bad? Is there a silencer that is E3 certified too?
Johnny.
Johnny.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

I'll take anything at this point. Except a $300 OEM replacement.

And it is OK.

Halls has them in stock.

pro circuit are making an excellent exhaust for the wr300, but i was reported that it's a little "midrange-oriented".

Wow! The HSQ has one smooth power and torque curve vs. the rest. The GG has 20hp/cv jump in 1000RPM's in the midI bet that thing pull real hard. And those KTM's make some killer peak numbers. Nobody is close to the linear spread of the Husky though
I bit the bullet and ordered the new pro circuit pipe and 296 silencer yesterday. I was going to get my suspension done with that money, but I dont think my stock pipe has much life left.... 3 dent removal session, one split seam welded, one hole filled in with weld and now it wont seal properly to the flange. I think I tweaked it for good at the last event.
I should hopefully have it next week. And be sure to shop around on these high priced items. I called Halls and was quoted $400 + shipping and my local ma and pa shop got it for me for $360 flat.
