• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Please help me in my quest to find a good exhaust for my 2010 TE 450. I have searched previous post with no luck. I have tuned my FI with the stock exhaust in the hopes that I could gain more bottom end and sono out the bog right off idle. I received better power all around, but I still have the bog off idle. I was told a better after market exhaust would solve my problem because of the bigger ID opening compared to the stock pipe. Can I get what I am looking for with any after market exhaust? I am on a budget and cannot and will not buy any auto tune device out there. Please let me know what your experience has been with your choice of exhaust. The BOG is driving me nuts!!! Thanks.

George sells an exhaust. Uptite 1 714 540-2920.

I don't think any of them will be guaranteed to fix the bog, but if you call him he'll give you his .02 on it.

Have you had it on iBeat at least?

Where in CA?

Yeah, I stop in every now and then to pick George's brain. He is pushing me toward his product and I have heard nothing but good things about it. The one thing that I did hear was that it was a very loud exhaust. As far as I-Beat, George tuned my bike with whatever software he has; I did not question him on what he uses. The bog and the e-start are killing me with this bike. I believe this bike can be a snappy bike without any hesitation when twisting the throttle especially when trying to avoid obstacles by lifting the front wheel. I just am not willing to dump hundreds of dollars into a brand new machine that should work properly with little adjustments. My e-start rarely works after it struggles to turn over the motor and when the motor is hot, forget about using the e-start period. I just want some answers to get this bike to work at its peak performance. Thank you for your input.
PS..Whittier.
