• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Just saw on RedBull.com that the Erzberg race will be streamed LIVE on their site plus KTM.com, and one other site. Pretty cool. It will be on June 10th for 4hrs starting at 5AM EST (2AM PST) Maybe we will see a Husky on the podium. I think I remember Andy L. was 3rd on the BMW a few years ago...(the 449 is a better bike I think)

hes got a whole stable of them for his ride open tours company out west. look pretty cool, jamie lanza is one of the guides. wish i were closer id hit em up.
 
If Letti rides 2T it will be WR300, 4T you can bank on the 310.
If gray thunder shows -310. if Kyle Redmond shows-310 (all this IMH-guesstimation)

PS there is no ZipTy Husky per se. Graffunder is HNA rider as well as Redmond from what little I know.

I couldn't find any mention of ktm.com or other sites except redbull and I had to dig to find that...

Also, it doesn't it say it will be streamed live. It says they'll be covering the event. So I would expect short, edited videos released after the fact. Hopefully same day, but who knows... ?
 
Ugh, I was supposed to be flying out to Erzberg tomorrow. Really wish it could have worked out but life happens. My friend Don is going over for the 3rd year hoping to finish it this time!

Last year Husky wouldn't pay for Cory to go, even though he got 3rd there as a privateer. No new posts on facebook, so he might be heading over there.

Will be there on a Factory supported KTM 300 Go Kendal go get them on a 2 stroke
 
It will be interesting to see what Lettie Is riding.

In an interview with the head of Husky, that I read in the Brit Moto magazine, he stated their 300cc DFI bike would be shown / released at the Cologne show this year, and that it would be used in some Extreme events this year.

I'm not holding my breathe on this, but it would be great to see this happen, this weekend.

Taddy isn't going cause the Endurocross on the 9th. Probably Cory and Kyle gonna do that to.
 
oh man Taddy isnt going (Graff and Red either and no Knighter) this was chance to OA the Iron Giant finally.............
