• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just seeing what everyones thoughts were on the last race of the series. Also who do you think will have a better showing the east or the west in the lites??

I'd like to see Reed make a comeback and win it, but Poto is pretty strong and all but has it in the bag already. West coast gotta go for my boy Tomac. Colorado rider and good kid. East coast will be a surprise with new 7602 rider Killy Rusk from Aztec, NM taking the win on #60 KTM.

Great racing in the lites ...

RV2 wins his heat race ... He's ready ...

js7 wins his also ... don't be surprised to see this guy win it tonight ... the race, not the title ...

Well that is it. I am officially no longer a Stewart fan. I just can't cheer for the guy anymore. Amazing skill, and without a doubt one of the fastest riders ever, but he just keeps taking himself out of it and not just that but he keeps taking other guys I like out of the race. At this point I'm not even sure if I want him to race the outdoors. He's almost more of a liability to the other riders as he is anything else. Maybe I'm just frustrated because I used to be a HUGE Stewart fan but at the moment I'm really having a hard time to find a reason to cheer for him.

Onto a positive side now, Congrats to Villopoto, Barcia, and Tickle. Poto seems like a very nice guy and without a doubt a very hard worker and that always has to be respected. I would have liked to see Tomac beat Tickle but that's the way it goes. I really like Barcia because he isn't afraid to get mean if he has to. Not a dirty rider in my mind, but also not afraid to shed some blood if that's what it takes.

All in all a great season. Now time for the real racing to get started. The outdoors start in 2 weeks, and that's where the real men are crowned in my mind.

KW just showed tonight he could run with js and we saw who crashed first ...

I'm thinking RV1 will dominate for the next few years unless maybe TC can match his speed ... RV1 is not at his best till the MX races ... He'll hit the outdoors on fire ...

it was a gnarly season for sure and the racing tonight was great aswell. i guess FuelTV has the moto coverage unless they are advertising for something else but i dont knwo if its goin to be live or everyrace or whats goin on with that.

After watching Poto absolutely DESTROY the world at the Des Nations in Buds Creek on a 250f I am a full believer in his skills on the outdoor tracks.

RV1 raced very very smart this year ... he showed speed at the beginning of the year to get the points lead, finished on the podium to maintain the lead, and finished off last week with with speed and a win, making this week's race a piece of cake ...

And yep, he's best at the outdoors ... RC crashed and finished second to RV1 in that de nations race where RV1 whipped the 450s on his 250 ..

i knwo the 450's got the power, but i bet we see more of the 350 class commin in the next couple years. i still cant beleive how they whip those things around the tracks it always amazes me.

Yep. The fastest man to ever hit the planet should find something else to do. Reality TV???

Apparently not as he crashed way to often this year ... Not sure what he was trying with Kdub in the last race ...

My opinion of Kevin Windham has always been high, and it is now much higher. Incredible talent. Yes I know he is probably not going to win a title, but I do like his style.

Incredible races!

you know he handled the interview with class too, the commentators had said him and stewart needed to be kept seperated by the track staff. then being interviewed he was praising stewart for being such a great rider, which he is obviously but wreckless. it takes a heck of guy to be able to keep their cool and not just trash talk like the stewart/reed drama

I do think Kevin is a class act..

Actually my respect for Reed has increased tremendously. My opinion was not good last year. Seems much more mature and likable now.
