• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Due to popular demand - here is Super Moto...

Thanks Coffee.
So I know it's really a KTM but can someone please motard one of these for me then let me have it on an extended loan. :D
Is anyone out there thinking of saving a 2014 from a life of grime?

I've been loving my dirty red supermoto/dualsport for years but I've been riding my new gray "all street all the time" supermoto on sticky street rubber lately and it's been nothing but a huge giggle fest. Eric still won't let me sell the house so we can go supermoto racing but I'm not giving up. I gotta do it before I get old

It is! I don't have too many yet, but here's one taken last week while we were out shopping. That's Eric's `06 TE in SM mode...

Cool! I've had a full Sumo wheel and brake swap for the TE for a while now but just haven't gotten to ride it as much as I'd like. And although it really doesn't take that long to do the swap I just wouldn't take the time usually.........

So now I've sourced a high miles TE to convert to Sumo so I can have either as desired........ so bring on the sumo info. I wonder if the kids at SMJ will find their way over........
