• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

don't know if any of you away from England know him , but Dudley Witt was one of the best tuners and repairers of Huskys over here. Dudley died of a heart attack on the 25th, will be greatly missed. he rebuilt the motors for a 350 and 510 of mine and had previously done a lot of suspension and handling work on the 510 for the previous owner, which as a supermoto on the road would handle like it was on tracks.
the top riders for the MJ Church Kawasaki world MX team could be seen at Dudleys workshop locally.
gonna miss him could have sorted my 250 Husky now,RiP Dudley

Windy851 (851 Ducati I presume, a take on Foggy 851?)
Didn't know Dudley or even know of him. But a moto bro/pro tuner gets my hail and farewell!!
I hoisted a pint o Boddingtons along with my shepherds pie in his honor (usually I get the steak&kidney pie). Yes we do have fairly authentic pub grub here in sunny san diego. PS I'm 50/50 blood 50% and by name Italian and 50% Manchester Brit. background

hi, yes that was Dudley
I used to have a Ducati 851 nothing to do with Foggy, we fell out years ago marshalling at Brands Hatch when it rained overnight the marshals sleeping area was flooded and mr attitude complained about the noise yet other superbike riders gave out free t shirts and let the marshals sleep in their awnings
