• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Bring back manufacturing to our country.I dam hope so.I worked 40 years in manufacturing and had three good jobs pulled from under my feet and sent overseas. With out a manufacturing you will never survive and prosper as country.
Men piss in a mens room!

"Stop buying some fucking Husqvarna bikes, and let us buy Cannondale, ATK and Rokon ! "

Those are extinct. Can am, Polaris, Zero, Harley come to mind though.

Rokon is alive and well! Now featuring the latest and greatest technology........ suspension!

Harley? They should of stayed making bicycles. Lol. Kidding but the older Harley's, belt drives anything from the early 1900's and the other brands too. The old board track racers. No brakes..?

Cannondale should of worked the bugs out. I like the two separate oils on the 4t.

Can Am makes only 3 wheel motorized backwards tricycles now. Not resembling a dirt bike unless I missed a press release at some point

They are motorcycles in the dealer network and I am pretty sure from a department of motor vehicles aspect. If you want a dirt bike how about Christini They are based in Pennsylvania. I think Victory, Polaris, Can Am, and Indian are all the same Parent Company. The AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) has expanded to include quads or four wheelers and some of the "Japanese" companies "make"them in this country is my impression.

I have not seen a Rokon for years and certainly not a newish one. Heavy duty there point hitch at the link in an above post is kind of amusing if you have a bunch of Category 2 three point hitch stuff.

If I were a moderator I would move this thread.
