• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Discontinued item resurection

Received my bare metal clutch cover a few days ago.

Installed it today, fit perfectly!

Thanks 7602.

No, thank you. I am sorry for the much longer than expected wait. For everyone else who is waiting for an anodized cover they are in the final step of production. We should be shipping in the next 1-2 weeks.

that's real Purdy. coulda scrubbed up the bike mike!;) rad hose looks a bit how ya going on the pipe but see ya got cover on it-pipe bent?

Yeah I know, it's been a while since its last bath.

I don't know if the pipe is bent. I bought the bike with that pipe and the wrap on the rad hose. The PO had the bike prep'd at Solid Performance which is a real good shop in eastern Pennsylvania. I've had the pipe off and back on and it seemed ok.

FMF finally sent me a tracking number for the new silencer. Supposed to arrive this Tuesday. They got it through a distributor.

Looks Great! Now you only need a HUGE "H" Crown Logo engraved on it right in the middle.:D It's nice to have the sight glass? What pipe do you have on there? Stock? I have a well over 1" between my rad.hose and the stock pipe. I hope the anodized ones will still have the 7602 Logo.

Yes, the anodized covers will all have the logo.

The pipe on my bike is a DEP pipe. Here are some pics.

clearly that pipe isn't right. take it off immediately & send it to me(you will also have to pay postage due to it being 'bent'). then tell fmf to send you a new one in lieu of your mental anguish over silencer-gate. pm me for my postal details mate;)

seriously though good to hear that fmf finally coming to the party

Nice! Only problem is that I'm really cheap!

Pipe works well. I also have a Gnarly or Fatty, have to check. PO said it was all bottom end, though, and no top end.

Received my bare metal cover as well. Not riding currently because of a badly fractured collar bone back in july so I thought I may as well
install and admire. Thanks 7602 for all the great parts.

Sorry to hear about the collar bone. I broke mine years ago also. Hopefully you'll get back up and going soon.

Thank you for your business. Nice looking bike!

Thanks Colo moto,
This collar bone deal has been a big setback mostly because I'm missing one of the best enduros around today the Jack Pine up in Moorestown MI.
Going to try a couple of trail rides in October before winter and then get back into riding in the spring next year. I've got to be real careful
with this collar bone to make sure it's healed up before maybe falling on it again. Plate and lots of screws holding it together. Plus I'm not
young anymore and taking more time to heal.
Thanks again for the clutch cover. The machining is wonderful and the fit is perfect on the bike.
Same on the gen cover and rad guards.
Later
Dave

So any updates when anodized clutch covers go out?

At last update from the laser engravers said they were scheduled to ship back to us Monday August 31st. If they don't arrive on the UPS truck today I'll give a call and get another update.

Once we get them it will take the majority of a day to prep and package them and we would ship the following day.

The covers showed up today. Unpacking and packaging right now. We will have all orders filled and shipped tomorrow. I apologize again for the very long wait. We'll be sending out a free set of our axle blocks with each order to try and make the wait a little better. Thanks again to all who made this happen and all those who placed an order.

There are 2 extra red covers that are not spoken for. Anyone interested please PM me.
There is also 1 extra red ignition cover. PM if interested.
