• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Discontinued item resurection

7602,
I read through this thread but I'm not clear on details.

Is this "resurrection" for 2 stroke only Italian bikes????

I have a 4 stroke 2008 big block (450 TXC) that could use some case covers ect. Ancient history I know but such a nice bike!

Thanks,

Bugs.

Yes, this thread is just for the 250/300 2 stroke clutch covers. We do offer the covers for your bike.

The list is now at 15. If we get 20 people interested I'll post up a link to a buy it now button on our website where people can pre order and then we'll start making some covers.

When we open up to pre orders there will be a "buy now" button with the color options.
Theres a real following for these bikes and fewer and fewer aftermkt places to buy stuff like this. I would think it woud be fairly steady for a while. If you look at the unadvertised responses here I would think that stands on its own.

What would be a guess at the latency time between getting the pre-orders and having the covers ready to ship?

Just curious.

Heath

surely we can get 2 more!!

I'd hope so.

Every 250/300 owner who's ever stripped that dang oil check bolt would be a prime candidate for these site glass clutch covers.

I was hoping to have this on the bike by the time I left for Burning Rock on the 20th of May. Guess not. LOL
