    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

After thinking about it for a while based on input from the thread in the 2 stroke section http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/wanted-clutch-cover.79105/ I decided it would be a good idea to move some of the discussion over here.

We have begun discontinuing many of our products for the Italian Husky's. We may have begun phasing out some of these parts a little prematurely. It seems there is still some interest in the WR 250/300 clutch covers with oil windows. So I'm starting this thread to gauge interest and see if we should do another run covers.

We will need at least 20 people interested to do another run. If you are interested in a cover please add your name below. We will make them in black, red or bare aluminum if desired. If/when there are 20 or more interested we will take a deposit and produce another run of covers.

I think we'll give this another week or 2 and make a decision. I'm not going to keep this open indefinitely because some peeps that are interested now likely won't be interested in 6 months or more.

Edited my original post to exclude the 4 stroke covers from this thread. I will start up a separate thread for those if needed.

We have 1 black ignition cover and 7 red covers in stock right now. I was originally planning on discontinuing the ignition covers also, but with the renewed interest in the clutch covers we may or may not make another run. We might do something similar to this where we get a minimum amount to do another run.
 
I'll (Mike B) take a black clutch cover for an 09 wr250. I have a question, though.

Previous owner installed a rekluse z-start pro. The bike has the stock Husky clutch cover, not a Rekluse cover. Will the 7602 cover fit over the Rekluse? Thanks.

Yes, we designed the cover using a bike with a rekluse in it. The cover will fit no problem.
