• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Daytona, Alligator Nat'l Enduro

Row 8 wow, that early and there still could be some Alligators in the trail. The Palmettos will not even be shiny yet.

Where is the row info posted? I'm in for the four races in eight days.

Sandlapper on Sunday.
River Ranch GNCC on Tuesday.
Alligator on Thursday.
The General GNCC on Sunday.

I finally got most of my speed back at The Cherokee so I'm pretty psyched for next week!

Me too 'cept no General on Sunday because my Colonel wants me back at work on Monday!

Long drive back to upstate NY. Cafe Guys should put something like a CH sticker on their bike to let us all see who the hell is who at these bigger events. I personally will put up some Husky pennants around bike.

Dwight ..where did you see row info posted?
I am on row 40 for Sandlapper. (Yes .it was a very late afterthought......this week)

Gators full..has been for awhile I was told.

Yes I know. Sent check in november. But would be nice to know before driving 26 hours to know I am definiteley confirmed as entered. Not to much to ask in my opinion.

:applause: I'M ON ROW 37 WITH GLENN KEARNEY!!!:applause:

I wonder what row Knighter will be on?

Row info is now listed on http://www.nationalenduro.com/Home.html

Joe, I have some news about the row your on. It's not good news. You may want to sit down for this.......you're on row 74. But that's ok, I just did Cherokee on row 90 and won 250C. I think you're gonna kick ass :cheers:

Just saw that, Thanks....whoops will remind me of New Englandf roots and rocks....do notice they have me in B class though,,,,,signed up for C open, never been rated a B rider.....and also no one......no one calls me Joey...not even my mom.

I'll be on row 5 for the Sandlapper (yippee!) and row 85 for the Alligator. I haven't seriously ridden enduros for the last 20 years,,,yeah, I'm an old guy. Just hope to have some fun and get familiar with my TE310. I rode the Alligator a couple years ago on my TE610 and even managed to get a trophy. I was pretty proud of that. Hopefully my stringent training regimen of Blue Moon and popcorn will help me..:D I'll be wearing CT plates on my boys (09TE310 and 06 TE610. Stop by and say Hi. The weather looks great!!

Just a reminder for you four-stroke guys, the land owner is making you wrap the header pipe. Info on the NEPG home page...

I'm going to be arriving Daytona Wednesday late afternoon, I hope I'll be able to get over to see some of you guys Thursday morning. I'll be wearing an Ohlins (work!) shirt/hat.

I am taking a break from FL and TX but the "Canadian Assault (insult?) of the US Nationals" will start back up in April for the TN round.

Row 40 for the sandlapper (hope its not the "Sackslapper" by row 40) tmrw in SC. Then GNCC on Tues and then Alligator Tur (Row 74)

Sandlapper was a nice ride. Should be called the "Sandbagger" enduro. Either it is SETRA is in mid season and these guys are flying or so many enroute to daytona dropped down a class (or two!) The top 10 scores for A, B and C classes were all about the same. The HP C dropped less than most A riders!
Great ride and club did great. All known controls........no time keeping involved (boo) Gets the HS side ther and keeps the sport alive. Maybe there is math challenges too (C'mon....that was funny) Never met a more polite crowd. Lots of Huskies.

More to come
Sorry no resident IT geek so pics and stuff will have to wait. Friend took great photos so if you wer on a Husky and rode the "Sandbagger" Enduro.....odds are wwe got you and PM me with an e mail address and what row you were on and we will send you them.

Joe

Flying to Florida wednesday mid day, gonna drive around and hit the beach. Race thursday and hopefully catch a plane by 6. Looks like they had to shorten the course due to the wet month of february.
