• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC Dal Saggio Ray kit for 4cs forks

whodat

Husqvarna
AA Class
I bought a really clean low hour 16' te250 with the 4cs forks. Although I heard how bad they were I thought they couldn't be that bad.....just a bunch of pussies! Jeez I guess I am the biggest pussy of all. They were the worst forks EVER! Anyway to the point. I installed the Ray kit from Slavens and what a difference! Almost as good as my Yamaha SSS forks. I have spent more money on re valves only to be not happy.
The kit comes with a video step by step, it is not hard at all. They come with base valves so you have rebound on top and compression on bottom like you should. The bike tracks strait and does not bottom. The little hack on the trail is almost gone. Good $ spent about 500 and some change, I bought seals and bushings while at it. Anyway good product, I thought I would give a mention.

So glad to hear that! I just installed the Ray kit on my '15 TE300 and will be testing them out for the first time tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be kicking myself for waiting so long to fix these forks...

Yes you will, I think the difference is remarkable. $ well spent and they are so much more adjustable. Let me know what you think!
