• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Cory Graffunder and Husqvarna #1 AMA Western Hare Scrambles Champion!

dbaz

Husqvarna
B Class
News from the the "Big Sky" race in Montana is that Cory and his "small" 511 won the AMA WHS Championship after 3hrs and 45min on the bike. Over 50 Pro's were on the starting line today, which is the biggest number of Pro Off-Road riders to make a starting line in 2012. Graffunder was just released, by his doctor, to race last week, after having 3 pins removed from his left big toe and X Rays of his fractured tail bone showed it was healing well. The multi time Canadian Champion now adds an AMA #1 plate to go along with his X Games Bronze Metal. Husqvarna and Cory's sponsors must as proud of him as his family and friends are. Charles Jirsa (Husky's Top Tech) was on hand to help Cory to this championship along with Goolsby Racing and his mom and dad. Go Cory, winner, champion and all around good guy.

Cory had a rough day, but he is a tough guy. I guess he smashed a toe and broke it during the race. He soldiered on for an 18th place finish, enough to get the championship.

After watching Cory demolish the field at the Funky Chicken in round 5 I had no doubt that he could muster enough grit to wrap up the series :applause:, but it is still.....
AWESOME ****************************************

and further evidence that the TXC511/449 rocks  not to mention that Cory is a force to be reckoned with and a nice guy, and cool of Charles to make the trip to Montana...way to go team.
