• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Cool new Kenda Trails / dirt tire coming.

I'd like to know if they grow at high speed like the MT43 does. I think they would because of the square contact profile.

How's the cornering on the k787 reveille?
I have the Millville front now that I don't hate but I lose the rear in turns and off chamber.... Wanna switch to washougal or k787

Mostly hardback clay this time of year but could run into rain at anytime also

I havent been able to loose the rear yet, even on wet clay deep ruts, washouts really. It just grips everything which is a new concept for me to get used too. Corners very good even under throttle. Deep sand is the next test next weekend. I got 2 787 rears for 190 shipped. A place called flannigans in NC. They are a srt retailer.

Update> Tire works really good in sand and even deep mud holes. I was surprised how well it paddled through the mud holes. Some were peg deep and long boggy mud and it just found traction. The hero sections/single track was very wet with leaves and roots and lots of guys were complaining about how slick it was, not me. The event I rode was 2 days and each day was over 150 miles of single track and 2 track with some gravel connecting roads. Hard to find any weak spots with this tire. If it has any, I haven't found them. 6 days on it so far and hardly any wear showing. I'm a happy camper.

SRT is having Kendas rebadged as SRT and as I understand all Kenda support riders will have to buy from SRT dealers soon.... price is better also
