• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

What is the general consensus on these? I'm considering them for my next set of tires. I've got the stock Pirelli Diablos on there now, and they are usually great, but they've lost some grip since they were new and are starting to get a little less predictable if I get on the power early out of a corner. Also, how well does the 160 rear fit? Do the Conti's run wide and rub the chain/guard?

I've got the Conti's on my 610 and their the best sport tire for a middle wieght bike that I've ever had. Their lighter than a lot of tires made for heavier high horsepower bikes, warm up fast, stick like velcro to the road and seem to be wearing pretty well. An added benefit is that they ride pretty nice.

150 or 160 rear?

ive got a 150 on mine. stock tires made it 1200 break in miles before the center was disgustingly flattened. these have gone as long and are only starting to flatten out. granted im harder on the bike now and riding less flat land, but they're dedicated street sm tires - quicker warm up, designed for lighter bike. theyre the tires to run on the street. was at the track with my crf and a guy on a drz400 was balling rubber off the ends like a track tire - they stick

I am going for MICHELIN Pilot power 2CT next season, 120 front and 160 rear, they are highly reccomended as I understand.

Don't buy the Force, buy the newer version, the ContiAttack SM instead. It has more grip and lasts longer.

I have Continental ContiAttack SM in 150 and i love it

They're still pretty new, but most bike shops should be able to get them for you within a few days.

Just curious - what size tube would you fit inside that Conti? Says 150/60 R17 on the tire but have not been able to find a tube with those dims.

Not an option, unfortunately. I need to use the inner tube....but which size will fit?

I use 450/510 17 straight valve in my 160/60 tyre. Maybe a 400/450 would be better for the 150.

bonjour, j'ai appelé Michelin en France et l'opérateur me dit, pour 630 SMS OEM 17, le bon tube est 17MG pour Front et 17 MI pour arrière.

Vous pensez est correct?
