• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Come Race In Sunny Arizona March 17th

Nice video. Ouch #%^^&@#$^)($*# for sure at the end. How long did it take you to pick the needles out? My son lives in Tucson and we both ride. Would like to get out there and race your event....maybe next year.

Nice! Keep posting these events, and remember your Afro pick and needle nose pliers and or Hemostats!!! (the picks are great for raking cholla clumps off and out of your body)
We have a local Enduro to do on the 18th, otherwise it would be a consideration, the last and only time I rode AZ was for the Wickenberg Nat. Dez Enduro. Thanks for posting, R

My club - TRSAZ - is putting on a H&H race just north of Tucson in March. It's part of the AMRA series. This will be our 5th year (I think) and it's often described as the favorite race of the year by many in the AMRA.

Check out the AMRA web site and some video's

Love the vid. Raised on the northwest side. Went to CDO high school and spent a ton of time trail riding north of Oro Valley all around the Tortolito Mountains over by the town of Catalina and we would ride the Charlows (not sure on spelling) gap jeep trail up to the town of Oracle. Really miss riding there. Gotta admit though, I never fell in a cactus while out riding. When riding in the early evening summer time always had to be on the look out for rattlesnakes, they were everywhere!

The video and race are up in San Manuel. Unfortuantely Charleau Gap got graded all the way to the cattle guard up top - Forest Service says they did it for the rancher's convenience??
The guy with the camera (Mark) is quite a charactor - missing most of his right foot and drinks at least 10 red bull/monsters a day.
