• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Colorado husky dealer

Husqvarna
So now that the only two dealers that sell huskys no longer will be selling them does anyone know of plans if anyone in Coloardo will?

I talked to Kris the president of Husqvarna NA at length about that. They are working on it, though I've no idea when another dealer will be chosen, I am sure a press release will be forthcoming.

edit: since this really has nothing to do with 4sts per se, I will move it over to the general forum.

I for one will stay tuned in to this subject.Hoping to have a Husky dealer closer to home.
The chap at Euro in Loveland was very nice when I called and inquired about this issue, he
told me that Husqvarna is "actively seeking" a new dealer.Looking to the future.

I vote for RPM in Lakewood. They are like 3 doors down the street from a BMW dealer. Also Apex in Colorado Springs would be a good fit as they already carry KTM and Beta.

I think BMW/Ducati of Northern Colorado had a hard time selling dirt bikes since were known as a upscale street bike place.

Ref: BMW/Ducati of Northern Colorado --> Hard to beleive that BMW would let them drop the Husky like now that they are owned by BMW. It just seemed like a natural fit.

Apparently they don't care about that aspect, the husky line here was also by a BMW triumph shop
