• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Clutch Lever For Magura = Sweet!

I assume the "magura clutch lever" is used for all Husky's that have a magura rather than the "magura2 clutch lever".... I wasn't aware they changed at all-
The red adjuster button is used off the stock lever and put on the new one? (not shown in their pic)
Old school- can you confirm?

The red adjuster knob is not needed for this lever. Look closely at the pic and you will see a small setscrew on the backside of the plunger block. This screw sets the freeplay of the lever. When I first installed mine, the bike was creeping with the clutch engaged. Just turned the setscrew in and it was golden:thumbsup:

I didn't realize there was a change in '09 either. His pic of the Magura 2 lever is silver, perhaps it will be available in black also?

I like this lever way better than my ASV shorty.

OK thanks- yea- I see that now- not that I change it often but I'd rather have a knob than need an allen wrench- no big deal though...

Maybe Magura has a New model that requires a different lever maybe some KTM or OEM street model I don't even think about- but as for Husky's I have the same levers on my 09TE450 that were on my 02KTMEXC- "Magura levers..." and its the same one thats on the 05' te450, 08 and 10 TE 510's- just saying what I've verified...

So whatever one you have should work for us- and you have the Magura Clutch Lever NOT the "magura 2 clutch lever"...

when I break my Magura Shorty I'll look these guys up. Thanks for the tip:thumbsup:

Right, pre '09 Magura lever. Actually put it on my 2005 Husaberg FS650. Already had ASV's on my Husky.
