  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Clicker settings for 14 te/TXC 250r, the manual is , er , crap :D

Husqvarna
AA Class
Manual that came with bike is poor in content, anyone got base settings for 75kg/165lbs ?

Any other info ?

I know the basics if these but interested in owners who have tips on them or info that'll save me grief later. :)

Ps, my avatars looking at ya ! ;)

Not sure if my settings will help because i'm a larger human at approx 115kg with all gear... and my forks are OC not CC. Anyway. Here's my shock setting.

Shock high speed = 1.75
Shock low speed = 10
Shock rebound = 10 (standard setting, engraved above adjustment screw)

I run a 6kg spring and about 110mm rider sag.

Yeah was hoping for the standard initial setup from a manual but the manual doesn't have anything relating to it, I'll scour the net.
Thanks boogie ! :)

These are MPE settings, not sure if they're stock (can't find info online) or if they've set them up as they like them as they raced these bikes and are suspension tuners

Front comp 12
Front rebound 11
Rear comp 13
Rear rebound 7
HSC 1.5t out.

Nothing like the te or TXC settings of 2013 bikes, even the cc forked bikes.

Another question, I've removed the huge tail piece and attached plate to white plastic part of fender, where can I bolt the indicators ?

I won't use them a lot but I'll be on a ride soon that the local authorities like to get money from fines and they'll need to be fitted so, is there a little bracket available or is it a case of DIY ?

I think I know her!.... Maybe I just want to.

I'd run with MPEs settings, they were suspension specialists way before they were Berg/Husky dealers.

Heading out to Kenilworth forest tomorrow if you want to run it in..... :)

Going out with brad to beerburrum or I would mate. I also need to stay relatively close to home as wife's working and kids at home (they're older but still) .
Thanks for the offer.

Dude, NO good

Hard to know what's worse there, the pain of the shoulder, or the pain from Mum when you tell her how you're hurt.....
Hope it all heals up quickly!

Should be fine, feels weird.
I install blinds and awnings so no work for a few weeks at least, don't know how long it'll take till it's good to use...

Bike looks pretty in the garage :(

I'm running almost the same on my '14 TXC 310. With 14 0n the front compression and 105mm of sag and 5cc less fork oil. It works good for me. I've also replaced my seals and wipers, the stock seals only lasted about two rides. I weigh about 210 lbs. and I not real fast.

Ok, a little confused...

Since the 14's have the cc forks of the TC, (and no manual on them for this part) anyone think I should be using the TXC settings overall ? Th settings overall (open chamber spec) or a mix of both , rear te and front TXC or wtf ? :D

My thinking is this,It would seem the softer settings in the rear are allowing the front to be firmer and as such, stiffening up the rear or setting clickers to TXC settings might see the bike balanced better ?

Any ideas ?

Ps, bike goes great, just wondering whether it's worth the time trail side to try different settings ?
(On the sofa nursing the torn AC so trying to get an understanding of it.)

Pps, I get the feling that husky fitted the TXC forks in runout 14's but the settings will be TXC rather than TE due to this .(hope what I am saying is easy to understand as I may be confusing myself now ! :D)
