• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just your GOV asserting its' power again ... As worthless as that area looks like for any human purposes other than what you were doing out there and holding the earth together, after it has been bombed it would still be ridable except for duds ... I don't ride places when minefields and duds need to be marked.

Myself, I know and have known for a great long time, that no one is coming after me :0)

the enviros must be having a shitfit,, those environment wrecking motos need to go!!! Hey great no more motos....but wait now we have tanks, humvees, bombs, etc etc etc blowing up our tortoises.

Robert about 1 mile from where we started up there were about 25 people last Oct doing a study of the impact of the tortoises. I was out working on our 100s National course and stopped to talk to them. They informed me that my motorcycle was a threat to the habitat of the desert tortoises. They also informed me to please be careful in the area I was in because they has found like 17 of the little guys. I then informed they that in the last 40 years of being out there I know most of the little guys by name and would never hurt one. NOW what are they going to do if those same people even go in that area again they will be arrested. Bomb away poor little guys have no idea what is about to happen

There are ~2 things in life I would change if I could ... 1 - stupidity 2- ignorance --- Always hard to tell to tell them apart when I encounter them. So I just go on my way. Both are scary to me.
