• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

did some riding in the fields today near my house. the river is flooded so it made it pretty muddy n sloppy n FUN. had a blast this evening even though my sparkplug got coated in goo, nothing a wrench and a pocket knife couldnt take care of though and was back riding in a cpl minutes. ive been having probs with this bike coating the plugs. i started out at 40:1 but have got it down to 32:1 and its still doin it. partly because i dont flog it like i should its been bored 40 over so ive been told i think it might be gettin too much fuel in there. only had this bike (94rm250) for a month, price was rite so im back into the dirtbike game. for the money this bike is fine but far from a woods machine imo. one of those new 4strokes is already sounding better n better i hear a certain 09 txc 450 callin me from the husky shop!!

good times for sure!! the last pic wasnt from today but a couple days ago in our field, its a good shot of what we have round here. always fun but it got a lil nasty in that mess lol

I blew up a RM125 in a Harescramble crossing a field like that. You'd hit it in 6th gear and by the time you got to the middle you were down to 1st. Sure is nice that you have a natural bike stand and bet it was fun walking outta there with motocross boots on!

dart, it wasnt too horrible, i ended up firing er back up ...after removing like 20 pounds of mud from my boot hahaha. lots of throttle and roost while pushing/riding got it done. all in all a good time. there wasnt no way i would have been able to push it out with no power i dont think. i almost got stuck myself takin the pic.
